People often say that the important part of the work of doing something is starting it.
Starting something is easy, the hard thing is to end it.
The real success of something is ending the work what you have already started, making it complete.
If you give up by not completing what you do, there will be no result of your works.
Just complete what you have started. Make things minimum viable but done.

Mungkin di semua negara, definisi pasar adalah seperti yang saya kutipkan di atas dari wikipedia. Ada 3 entitas yang berperan di pasar, yaitu jasa/barang, penjual dan pembeli. Kalau ada yang lainnya itu cuman pengembangan dari ke-3 entitas tersebut.
Lalu apa yang berbeda antara negara satu dengan negara lainnya, yaitu penamaan pasar tersebut.
Di pasar Kotagede Yogyakarta, setiap hari pasaran “legi”, mulai pagi hari sudah dipadati dengan burung-burung yang akan diperjualbelikan, hari tersebut biasa disebut dengan Pasar Burung Legi. Kalau di rumah, istri saya sudah terbiasa ngecek kalender terlebih dahulu kalau mau ke pasar Kotagede, kalau hari itu hari pasaran “legi”, biasanya dia pergi pagi sekali (mruput) agar terhindar dari kemacetan atau pergi ke pasar modern.
Selain penamaan dengan hari pasaran/pancawara, ada juga pasar yang dinamakan dengan berdasarkan peristiwa, yaitu Pasar Dadakan, sesuai dengan namanya “dadakan” sifatnya tidak permanen, biasanya Pasar Dadakan ada karena peristiwa tertentu, seperti ada festival, layar tancep, menjelang idul fitri, bulan puasa (ramadhan), dll.

Kemarin, seorang teman memberikan tautan menarik di ReadWriteWeb (RWW) berjudul How Facebook Mobile Was Designed to Write Once, Run Everywhere , diartikel tersebut dijelaskan bagaimana Facebook mengembangkan HTML5 sebagai satu sistem yang siap dipasang diberbagai platform dan kendala yang ditemukan ketika ingin diimplementasikan ke platform apps (iOS, Android, BB, dll), seperti belum ada fitur untuk mengakses address book dan bagaimana cara mengintegrasikannya dengan sistem notifikasi yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing platform di apps. Selain itu saya pribadi bisa mengetahui sedikit banyak mengenai teknologi yang digunakan oleh facebook.
